iPhone Setup
From the home screen, touch
Settings, then touch Mail. Choose Add Account. Choose Other.
Choose Exchange. (You could also choose IMAP or POP but there
are advantages to setting it up as an Exchange account.)
For Name, type your display name as it
appears in the Global Address List, not your email address. Usually that's
your first and last name, such as John Appleseed.
For Address, type your email reply address,
the primary address on your mailbox.
Type anything you like for Description.
Incoming Mail Server host name is
shelley5.webville.net
User name is your logon name, usually first
dot last @ domain dot com
Outgoing mail server host name is
shelley5.webville.net
User name under outgoing mail server is not
optional, supply your user name and password again, just as you did above
for incoming server.

Rumor has it that Apple has licensed
Exchange ActiveSync from Microsoft, so we're hoping an update to iPhone
software will enable full ActiveSync support. For now, iPhone uses IMAP to
access your Exchange mailbox (over cellular or Wi-Fi). We highly recommend
the iPhone to our clients, it is an amazing device and an incredible email client.
Note regarding Exchange 2003 versus
Exchange 2007. With Exchange ActiveSync it is necessary to to specify the
correct front-end server name depending on whether your mailbox is on our
Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2003 systems. The iPhone uses currently uses IMAP,
so shelley5.webville.net will work either way. If you have trouble you can
try using server name: secure.webville.net if your mailbox is on our
Exchange 2003 systems.
