How to Setup Outlook

If you don't have Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 installed on your computer, see Outlook Download. After installing Outlook or if Outlook is already installed, it must be updated. See Outlook Updates.

Do not use Outlook 2003. It does not interface properly with the current anti-spam features of the server systems.

Once Outlook is installed and updated, you need to create a profile. An Outlook profile is a group of settings that define how Outlook is set up for a particular user to access a particular mailbox on a particular server.

You're much less likely to have problems if you add a new profile instead of changing the settings in an existing one.

The step by step instructions for creating a new profile are different for each version of Outlook. Please click one of the links below depending on which version of Outlook you're using. Determine your version by choosing About from the Help menu.

Versions of Outlook prior to 2003 are not allowed to make MAPI connections to our systems.
